UMoringa oleifera isihlahla esincane esiqinile futhi esikhula ngokushesha esibuye saziwe ngokuthi idrumstick tree, ihorseradish, iben oil noma ‘ipeperwortelboom’ ngesiBhunu. Sikhula sibewu-5 no-12 m ubude, sinesiqu esiqondile nesicongo esimise okwesambulela esingamaqabunga afana nezimpaphe. Izimbali zifika ku-25 cm ubude futhi zithela imidumba yembewu emide ezacile ensundu. Yize ungowomdabu kwelaseNdiya, ePakistani naseNepal, umoringa oleifera uyamila ezifundazweni zaseNingizimu Afrika okuyiLimpopo, Free State, iMpumalanga, iKwaZulu-Natal neGauteng.
