John Kani born Bonisile John Kani is a South African actor. He has starred in films, television and plays such as Sarafina!, Nothing but the Truth, The Lion King, Black Panther and Captain America: Civil War.
He is an internationally renowned actor and remains an iconic South African playwright and director. It was on Nelson Mandela’s 72nd birthday at Kippies in Johannesburg where John Kani had the pleasure of meeting Madiba.
