ANC Supporters March Against Apartheid

A sign-carrying crowd marching on the Union Buildings in ANC-backed protests against F.W. de Klerk's government and the stalled power-sharing negotiations.

During the Apartheid years, people would organise marches and rallies to support the African National Congress (ANC) and take a stand against the apartheid regime and National Party government. Crowds would carry signs that supported Nelson Mandela and the ANC, and chant phrases of power and endearment.
