This scenic mountain range offers visitors a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy while also being a sanctuary of tranquility far removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The reserve offers self-catering accommodation, with many amenities that include hiking trails, trout fishing (catch and release) and camping. Giants Castle Reserve is also home to numerous ancient San rock art paintings, left by the hunter-gatherer tribes that lived in the region centuries ago.

Numerous caves in the mountain range are also available for exploring and even overnight stays. Various wildlife species that inhabit the Giants Castle Reserve mountain range can be spotted while out on hikes. There are no dangerous predators at Giants Castle Reserve, and you can expect to spot baboons, eland and maybe the shy caracal along the cliffs. Giants Castle Reserve offers the perfect mountain escape in the great outdoors, combining both adventure and escapism.
