Lying at the south-western tip of Africa, the Cape Peninsula is on the Atlantic side of South Africa. This area is well known for the beautiful harbours, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Robben Island.

A spectacular view of the Cape Peninsula can be seen from the world famous Table Mountain. The climate in the Western Cape is typically Mediterranean and is usually warm and dry in the summer and mild and moist in the winter. Rain is frequent during the winter months.
