There are various career opportunities within the green industry, and SA Nursery Association invites students with a passion for horticulture or the environment to apply for a bursary to enter into the world of greenery. Students who have successfully completed three subjects in their first Academic year of study are eligible to apply for a bursary, and application forms are available on SA Nursery Association's website.
SA Nursery Association offers businesses and associations a sponsorship model, which will allow them access to marketing opportunities based on their sponsorship grading. Three Star Sponsors receive a highlighted listing in the SANA magazine, from suppliers to the trade pages. They get a 5% discount for exhibitors at SA Nursery Association Trade Days, as well as exposure on the SA Nursery Association website and a custom link to their own website.
SA Nursery Association has multiple publications on offer for members and interested parties to read up on the green industry and horticulture in South Africa. Green Business Magazine includes interviews with SANA-award recipients, how-to guides on home gardening, up to date association information and new horticulture trends.
Furthermore, remote farmers can connect to SA Nursery Association Forums, which enables members who cannot attend regular meetings to connect and build relationships. Currently, Forums are set up in Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal.
