SA Nursery Association membership includes various horticulture-related associations, as well as businesses and exporters in the green industry. The organisation also has multiple partnerships and affiliations in the agricultural industry.

SA Nursery Association represents the Allied, Bulb & Seed Trade Association (ABSTA), the Bedding Plant Growers Association (BPGA) and the Garden Centre Association (GCA) of South Africa.

ABSTA is made up of all the suppliers of non-plant material such as pots, fertilizers, water features, ceramics, pesticides, seed etc. Most of its members are also members of the other Associations within SA Nursery Association.

BPGA is a group of professional bedding plant growers with a common goal to achieve top quality in their product and market it successfully to retail nurseries and their consumers. The Association has launched a trademark called “Flowering Favourites”, which is their print media marketing effort in various newspapers and magazines.

Lastly, GCA is a national body representing garden centres and associated wholesale partners. They aim to uphold the highest possible retail standards within the Green Industry. Regional branches have been formed in Cape, Central, Gauteng and Tshwane.

The SA Nursery Association membership application procedure is usually finalised within 14 days, and an application form can be downloaded from SA Nursery Association's website. The fee structure is also available on the website, as well as sponsorship levels.
