Description
In colours of white or pale pink, this lily blooms bell-shaped flowers in the early summer in South Africa; from striped pink buds. The river crinum has dark green leaves with wavy margin patterns.
Habitat
The River Crinum grows across a wide range of environments in South Africa.
Field Notes
The crinum lily is used for a range of medicinal purposes, however, be careful as some species in South Africa may prove to be toxic.
