Head north along the coastal road and stretch your legs in Kleinzee and indulge in some local seafood for lunch at one of the quirky little restaurants. Once you’ve had your fill of salty sea air, continue north to visit MacDougall’s Bay and Port Nolloth.
Port Nolloth is a town with a deep-rooted origin in gems. The town is primarily inhabited by fishermen and commercial divers. The town has a crayfish factory, a jetty packed with fishing bakkies, simple houses for fishermen and tough-as-nails divers and a few shops. Along Kusweg, however, you’ll find some lovely 19th and early 20th century beach cottages.
There are ample accommodation options in Port Nolloth, or MacDougall’s Bay a few kilometers away and a few restaurants that will offer you seafood, or even pizza.
