Your Experience

Thakadu River Camp accommodation is in tents – but this is “glamping” (glamorous camping) at its best. The tents contain a spacious bed/sitting room and beautiful bathroom that one would never imagine could be found in a tent. Thakadu is set in the Madikwe Reserve, which is known for its plentiful game, much of which was introduced via Operation Phoenix, which saw thousands of animals being brought to the reserve in the ‘90’s. The rewards of this conservation drive are evident, making this a very special place to safari.
