From the activities to the accommodation and facilities, the atmosphere here is genuine, without being pretentious.
Chalets
Africa on Foot Camp come standard with thatched roofs, en-suite bathrooms, mosquito nets, a clothing rack, bedside tables, solar powered lamps and mist fans, as well as bathroom toiletries. Two of the chalets are family units, which have 2 adjoining bedrooms and room for four people in double and twin beds. Take note that the electricity at Africa on Foot is solar-powered to keep things natural and eco-friendly. The power is switched off between 12pm and 4pm, so all charging of devices should be done before and after this period. The water is gas-heated.
The Treehouse
For one night during your stay, why not try sleeping out in the treehouse? It is located a few hundred metres from camp. It is a wooden structure set high up among the trees with game-viewing platform, outdoor shower and a top deck with a bed, along with a superb view.
