Winelands of Stellenbosch South
Cape Winelands in Style
The southern part of the Stellenbosch winelands is dominated by the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains and, further south, by the magnificent Hottentots Holland range.
Journey of the Senses
The beautiful vineyards of Stellenbosch south.
Enclaves like Papegaaiberg and Stellenboschkloof, as well as the Helderberg bench, are prime red wine country, although high-lying vineyards, with views across to False Bay in the cold Atlantic Ocean, also produce outstanding Sauvignon Blancs.
But varied aspects ensure you’ll find great wines in all styles here, attracting some of the Cape’s top winemakers.
On many of these farms, wines go hand in hand with food, whether it be award-winning restaurant fare, a sophisticated forest picnic or a fascinating sensory experience with wine and chocolate.
