The ceramic design objects are made up of bowls, platters, trays, candle holders, coffee and tea compartments, Ardmore adorned jewellery, sculptures, tureens, urns, vases and jugs. The pieces are decorated individually to showcase the famous Ardmore multicoloured, quirky and unique creations that are full of depictions of African beasts, bushes and birds wrapped carefully around each of the objects.

Ardmore Ceramics’ team brainstorms, conceptualizes and creates each piece with inspiration coming from African proverbs, photographs of creatures and the artists’ sheer imagination. The illustrations created in each ceramic object commemorate and express these stories.

Ardmore Ceramic Art depicts life in its creation, from magical elephants surrounded by flowers to tribal men traveling through the African bush on animals and even creations of leopards frozen in the moment before catching their prey, the colourful and dramatic ceramics evoke real, natural life.

The artists carefully mould the structures of their creations with clay and then add the embellishments. After this process, tiny markings, patterns, textures and other fine details are added to the ceramic objects and then the pieces are painted often with Ardmore’s signature bright coloured style. Through each process of creation, several team members will work on an individual piece to ensure its well-crafted.

Ardmore Ceramics have been selected on numerous occasions to showcase their ceramics in various galleries across the globe and many original Ardmore Ceramic artworks have earned international awards in recognition of their excellent craftsmanship.
