When visiting Quatermain's Camp you can enjoy the exhilaration of viewing the Big 5 in their natural habitat on both the Amakhala Game Reserve as well as the world-famous Shamwari Game Reserve, the latter if you are spending more than two nights at the camp.
Game drives take place twice daily and last for between 3 and 4 hours each, under the guidance of well-informed and experienced game rangers. Bad weather will pose no threat to your game drive, you will be dry and warm in the waterproofs and blankets provided by the camp.
During your morning drive, you will stop for a cup of freshly-brewed coffee with sundowners awaiting you in the afternoon.
If you have taken advantage of the 2-night package, you will be able to experience the excitement of a guided bush walk, which will bring you into close proximity to the various animals, bird species and plants of the area.
Dining at Quatermain's Camp is an experience not to be missed and keeps closely to the overall theme of the camp. Local cuisine is prepared in front of you on an open fire and dinner is enjoyed under the African skies, weather permitting.
Special dietary requirements are catered for with prior arrangements.
