Game Viewing
Elephant encounters on the reserve include observing the Elephants in their natural environment and also include feeding these gentle giants. Elephant Encounters depart three times a day and are approximately 1.5 hours in duration, and is the best place to see Elephants in South Africa. The traditional game drives on the property take guests within close proximity to a host of wild animals such as zebra, giraffe, antelope, wildebeest and many bird species. A private half day or full day tour to Addo Elephant National Park can be pre-booked. This option is available for guests eager to view the popular Big 5 wildlife and includes lunch and refreshments.
Bush Dining
Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge offers meals fit for royalty. The African-themed dining area lies close to the bachelor elephant’s watering hole of choice, allowing guests to take in magnificent views while dining on the finest African inspired cuisine.
