Imbuzi zinlwane zekhaya ezifuywako ezithandwa khulu ngombana ngombana zidla iintjalo pheze zomhlobo woke zingadla imitjhana kanye notjani kanje neenkomo. Ngombana zirhona ukudla amakari yemithi aziphalisani ngokudla neenkomo. Ama-Carbohydrate kanye namafutha kokubili kuletha amandla. Amandla atlhogeka ekukhuleni, ekukhiqizeni kanye nekukhandela amalwelwe kanye namapharasayidi.
Iimbuzi zitlhoga amaprotheyini. Iprotheyini sisakhi samaseli woke emizimbeni yazozoke iinlwane begodu iqakathekile ekukhuleni kwazo ekukhandeleni amalwelwe, ekubeleni kwazo nekumunyiseni (ekukhiqizeni ibisi).
Enye yezinto eziqakathekileko ekudleni kwazo zoke imbuzi yi-energy eyaziwa njenge TDN = total digestible nutrients okutjho bona izakhi ezigayekako.
Inani elaneleko lokudla kwembuzi okudliwa yimbuzi qobe lilanga kumedwa nge-Dry Matter Intake'(DMI). Inani le-dry matter eziyidliko iya ngokobana imbuzi yikulu kangangani, yenzani kanye nokobana ikhiqiza kangangani. I-DMI enengi izokutholwa kwaphela nange kunokudla okumnandi okwaneleko.

Hlangana nokudla okunama-concentrate okuzele i-energy kubalwa isphila, i-barley,imbewu yegadoni kanye ne-oil cake meal. (I-Brewers grains ziinsalela ezisele lokha nakukhiqizwa ibhiya). Nanyana i-barley kusphila esisetjenziselwa ukubilisa, ikoroyi, ireyisi amabele kanye ne-millet nakho kuyasetjenziswa.
Hlanganisa nokudla kweembuzi okuzele amaprotheyini kubalwa i-fishmeal, soya bean meal, cottonseed oil cake meal kanye ne-brewers' grains.
