Reflect your Individuality - Acitvities
Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park

Explore the privately owned, exclusive use area inside Sabi Sabi Game Reserve.

Game Viewing

This is Africa's big game terrain. Drives are the order of the day where only 6 people are permitted per vehicle, leaving space for photographic and binocular equipment. For guests wanting private drives on their safari in South Africa, specialised 4x4 safari vehicles can be hired with a private tracker-guide.

Drinks are served in the bush on evening drives as a gentle introduction to the nocturnal animals. Evening drives open up a totally new world when the heat of the day has subsided and local predators such as lion, leopard, hyena and black backed jackal head out to hunt.

Walking Safaris

Try a walking safari at Singita to maximise your overall safari experience. Head out on foot with one of the experienced guides. Take in the bush aromas and sounds, and pay attention to the various plants and trees. You may even be able to spot some of the local reedbuck, duiker and nyala.

Bush Spa

With three full time beauty therapists ready to pamper you with body treatments of your choice either in your room or at the Bush Spa, you can relax in good hands. A variety of couple’s treatments is also available, from hot stone therapy, African head massage and reflexology to outdoor mineral salt scrubs and seaweed wraps. Body treatments such as polishing scrubs and nourishing masks can be enjoyed in the comfort of your private suite.

Camera Rental and Photo Editing

The Photographic Library offers a quiet area with a computer desk with iMac 27” Retina 5K display and the latest version of both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. You can book a private one-on-one post-production session with your guide or resident lightroom instructor to review your images and select the best keepsakes.

Community Visit

The Singita Community Development Trust works in partnership with the READ Educational Trust and their Growing to Read programme, to initiate Early Childhood Development practices in pre-schools. Guests can meet the children in the playrooms and learn about this vital programme, as well as witness many other areas of interest and cultural significance on the community visits.

Children’s Activities

The Lodge welcomes children of 10 years and older. There are various activities on the go, from board games, wildlife shows, cooking and baking with the chefs and tours to community schools. The Mini-Rangers programme is a fun and educational course where upon completion participants receive a certificate of merit.

Activities include animal tracking, bush walks, stargazing, baking, archery, flower-pressing, butterfly capture and release and nature quizzes.
