Located in the central section of the reserve, Satara Rest Camp in Kruger Park is earmarked as one of the best places to see big cats. In fact, the lion, leopard and cheetah sightings are so good, it is even referred to as the ‘cat camp’.

Here in the heart of the Kruger National Park, the fertile grazing land attracts a vast variety of grazers which is why those prowling predators are easy enough to spot. The Muzadzeni area, running east from Satara along the N'wanetsi stream, is a particularly well-known wildlife-rich area where guided game drives often venture.
