Your Experience
Here in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, Elephant Plains Game Lodge overlooks a watering hole on the dry Manyeleti riverbed. There is a comfortable atmosphere throughout. The sound of traffic is replaced with chirping birds and the only rowdy neighbors you will encounter are the troops of cheeky vervet monkeys or prides of roaring lions. Opt for the more affordable safari lodge accommodation, or try the luxury suites.
The infamous Manyeleti Suite offers a private haven, ideal for couples and honeymooners. Spend some free time at the pool, or in the library. Children are welcome too, and will be well looked after on the Mini Tuskers safari programme. Not too much relaxing though - this is Big Five territory. Morning and evening game drives will get you right out into the wild.
If you are lucky, you will even see wild dogs, which are quite rare in this region. For a preview of the attractions, keep an eye on the ‘Africam’ camera, which screens a live view of the elephants that hang out at the watering hole just yonder.
