Riebeek Kasteel

Riebeek Kasteel is a little gem of a dorp on the edge of the Swartland in the Western Cape, with the nearby Kasteelberg serving as a suitably prominent 946 m beacon right upon the edge of town.

Although this quaint little dorp exemplifies contemporary country living, the imposing landscape – resplendent with vineyards and olive groves – has drawn a rather hip crowd to Riebeek Kasteel.

The laid-back village therefore offers the discerning visitor an authentic, yet sophisticated country experience, complete with vibrant bistros, artisanal shops, gourmet restaurants and art studios.
