After a leisurely breakfast and a stroll along the beach, you depart for the final stretch to Cape Town. Stop in at farmstalls or coffee shops and enjoy the drive home. We recommend checking out these.
At the Hebron Padstal on the Piekenierskloof Pass, they continue a long mountaintop tradition of providing travellers with fresh local fruit & veg, jams & preserves, freshly squeezed orange juice and home baked bread. In season they also sell locally grown flowers. They also have a tasting room on the farm that offers four tastings: NieuwBrew Craft beer, Carmién Rooibos tea & Craft Gin and Piekenierskloof Wine Company (PKWC) wines.
You can also stop off in the quaint little village of Koringberg for coffee or lunch. This wheat and sheep farming town is situated about 20 km from Moorreesburg. Pop in at the Desert Rose Farmstall for a selection of home baked goods and other delicacies. The kids can play on the jungle gym while you can enjoy your meal inside or outside on the stoep area.
