Game Viewing
Known for offering guests one of the most deluxe game viewing experiences in the country, the game drives at Phinda Forest Lodge will allow you to not only view the ever-popular Big 5 but up to 415 bird species as well. The game reserve is also famous for some of the finest cheetah sightings in the country as well as being home to the highly endangered black rhino.
Game drives take place twice a day with experienced guides who will ensure that you get well-acquainted with the wildlife in the area.
You can also enjoy e-bike rides through the forest and guided bush walks where you can track black rhinos on foot. There are various conservation-orientated activities and cultural tours that you can participate in.
Bush Dining
Mealtimes at Phinda Forest Lodge on the open-air deck are exceptional and often entertaining and full of pleasant surprises, such as troops of monkeys cavorting in the trees and an a variety of wildlife grazing in the distance. In the evenings the inviting fires of the African Boma beckons you to indulge in delicious South African cuisine prepared by world-class chefs, while curious bush babies watch from the foliage above. Special dietary requirements are catered for at prior arrangement.
