Turtle Nesting Adventure

During summer in the southern hemisphere, leatherback and loggerhead turtles emerge from the Indian Ocean at Sodwana Bay for 4 months to lay their eggs. At night an excursion along the coastline sets off in search for fresh turtle tracks and will lead you to some potential nesting sites. Observe the female turtles as they dig their nests and lay their eggs.

Endangered Wild Cats Project

At the rehabilitation centre close to Phinda Mountain Lodge, endangered wild cat species such caracal, African wildcat, serval and cheetah can be observed. Guided, educational tours are led through the individual wildlife enclosures and offer some perfect photo opportunities of these magnificent creatures.

Zulu Village Tour
