Membership of Predation Management SA

The members of Predation Management SA are livestock organisations and associations that represent the interests of various sectors within the industry. These organisations and their respective members are committed to regulated predation management. They include: 

The National Woolgrowers’ Association of SA (NWGA) was established in 1929 and is the oldest farming organisation serving the wooled sheep farmer.  It has a countrywide membership base in excess of 4 500 commercial and 20 000 communal members.

The Red Meat Producers Organisation (RPO) is an independent service organisation that acts as a platform for South African commercial red meat producers locally and internationally.

Wildlife Ranching South Africa (WRSA) is recognized by government and roleplayers as an organisation that serves the local and international interests of the wildlife ranching industry in the areas of sustainable breeding, conservation, farming and marketing of wildlife in South Africa. WRSA consists of more than 2,000 commercial wildlife ranchers (landowners), as well as entities and individuals with an interest in commercial wildlife ranching.

The South African Mohair Growers’ Association (SAMGA) is the organisation that serves the interests of Angora Goat farmers. SAMGA promotes the manufacture of mohair, and the general farming of Angora Goats, whilst consistently consulting with government and non-government organisations (NGO’s) about challenges at farming level.
