Mjejane River Lodge is situated on the Mjejane Game Reserve, between Malelane and Komatipoort, incorporated into the Kruger National Park’s southern boundary. Mjejane Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger, which means wildlife can roam freely between these areas.
This makes for a varied and rather enriching game viewing experience at this private South African safari accommodation. The reserve is abound with lions, zebra, hippos, giraffe, leopards, elephants and many more animals. Mjejane River Lodge is a particularly great location if you don't want to be, or can't get reservations, within the Kruger Park itself. It is a nature lover’s paradise with views over the Crocodile River.
In between morning and evening game drives, you can happily find a relaxing spot in the sun, simply taking in the views. It is not uncommon for an inquisitive elephant herd to stroll past the lodge on their way to the water’s edge. The Mjejane River Lodge staff are very friendly, attentive and will be more than happy to attend to your needs and requests. It doesn't get much better than great service and ample wildlife!
