Game Drives
In specialised safari vehicles, experienced game rangers lead the search for the incredible roamers of the bush. Only a maximum of 4 guests are allowed per game vehicle for an intimate bush experience. The Madikwe Game Reserve has wonderful sightings of the Super 7 - elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog - and they can be spotted on action-packed safaris.
Game drives are conducted twice a day - morning and late afternoon - when wildlife activities are at peak. In the morning predators can be spotted as they return from a hunt, and late in the afternoon the bush comes alive as nocturnal animals come out to play.
Bush Walks
Safari walks are ideal to spoor track animals and learn about the diverse species of flora along the way. Insects and other small creatures are often overlooked on game drives and are the highlight of walking safaris. The expert rangers and trackers will enlighten guests with their personal bush knowledge.
