Luxurious Game Lodge - Activities
Madikwe Game Reserve, North West Province

The Madikwe Game Reserve boasts one of the largest elephant concentrations on the continent, which together with an abundance of other wildlife, makes for a magnificent game drive.

Game Viewing

Game drives are conducted all-year round from the luxurious game lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve during the early morning as well as late-afternoon/early evening when animal viewing opportunities are at their peak. The first drive of the day departs at sunrise while the later one leaves at such a time that will enable the viewing of nocturnal animals as well as the breathtaking Southern skies.

In addition to the conventional game drives, The Bush House also offers an innovative underground hide that allows guests to view the animal exploring the water point from a very close proximity. The roof of The Hide is just above ground level and suitably reinforced so that wandering elephants can safely walk over it.

Bush Dining

The meals at The Bush House takes their visitors on culinary journey never to be forgotten. The chefs create delicious bushveld cuisine while trying to accommodate all specific dietary requirements. A typical day will see you enjoying breakfast and lunch in the beautiful gardens and a dinner under the heavenly stars in the boma. If you are still feeling peckish after lunch you can indulge in a late-afternoon tea served with all the trimmings. A fully-stocked pub area is also available on the premises to cater for your every need.

Children at the Bush House

Children of all ages are more than welcome at this luxurious game lodge, with special game drives provided for those too young to go out with the adults. A babysitting service is also available on request.
