Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge is spectacularly placed on the Tweedepoort Ridge, in Madikwe Reserve, South Africa and the best place to find Buffalos. The view over the plains and rocky outcrops is quite unlike that of the other lodges in Madikwe. 8 thatch chalets are on a ridge on one side of a ravine. By crossing a wooden bridge, you’ll find the main lodge opposite.
Buffalo Ridge is set in the Madikwe Reserve, which is known for its plentiful game, much of which was introduced via Operation Phoenix, which saw thousands of animals being brought to the reserve in the ‘90’s. All chalets have viewing decks that open out from suites furnished in earthy colours, thus blending with the organic nature of the Lodge.
