You are welcomed on arrival at Rhulani Safari Lodge with a warm rosemary and mint scented towel to wipe away the travel dust.
Further pampering is visible immediately on seeing the clean lines and sophisticated décor of each of the 7 chalets and 1 suite. On entering your luxury suite, it’s evident that this is a lodge where all the small details have been considered.
Plump pillows (both firm and soft), a welcome letter, South African art on the walls and a checklist of animals to be found in the reserve all indicate that Rhulani Safari Lodge has thought of every interest that you would appreciate. Each en suite bathroom has an oval bath, twin basins and indoors and outdoors showers.
All rooms are equipped with a stocked bar fridge, tea and coffee stations enabling you to relax comfortably in your private enclave or in your private pool. There is one luxury two bedroomed family suite, complete with a private deck, lounge area, plunge pool, en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, air-conditioning and a minibar.
The enormous bedrooms are spacious enough to accommodate two stretcher beds for the kids. The lounge area has sofas that can also easily be converted into single beds for larger family groups.
Weddings and conferences (30 people) can be designed to suit one's needs. A library is available to select reading matter to browse through whilst relaxing either inside or outside between game drives and delicious meals. Massages can be added for extra pampering on your private deck or in your private suite.
A variety of outdoor relaxation points ensure that different views of the bush are possible – the boma, the bar in the shade of a Marula tree, the pool deck, next to the rock pool or while taking a nap in your air-conditioned suite.
