This private lodge in the Kruger National Park offers two game drives every day with only six passengers at a time.
In summer, morning drives depart at 05:30 and evening drives depart at 17:30. In winter morning drives depart at 06:00 and evening drives depart at 16:00. All of the Big 5 animals are always high on every list, but there are also a range of other special sightings on offer like wild dogs (the Hamiltons pack) and cheetah.
The guides have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and rely on expert trackers to ensure the best chance of an unique sighting. Game drives offer a chance to view rare nocturnal animals in their natural habitat. Kids between 6 – 12 years are only permitted on game drives at management discretion.
Bush walks provide another opportunity to get closer to nature - to hear, feel, see and smell the animals in ways that are seldom experienced on a vehicle.
The thrill of being close to nature in this way will never grow old. Bird watchers are also catered for with Imbali’s prolific birdlife - on a single day you can tick many bird species on your list, including the Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, Crested Barbet and Burchell’s Glossy Starling.
Guests at Imbali can indulge in body treatments of their choice either in their rooms or in the spa. A variety of couple’s treatments are also available, which is ideal for honeymooners or those celebrating their anniversary.
Body treatments such as polishing scrubs and nourishing masks can be enjoyed in the comfort of your private suite.
