At Singita Sweni Lodge, only 6 people are permitted per 4x4 vehicle, leaving space for photographic and binocular equipment.
For guests wanting private tours on their safari in South Africa, private vehicles can be hired. For the more energetic, take your safari to the next level, join in a mountain bike safari. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, pedal around the Kruger Park.
This Kruger Park luxury accommodation also offers a special experience of heading out into nature on foot. An experienced guide and tracker will teach you about the smaller animals that inhabit this area, as well as the medicinal uses of various plants and trees.
The minimum age of guests to join this activity is 15 years old, but this is at the discretion of your Field Guide.
If food is your passion, why not visit the Singita School of Cooking? This community development programme provides the local community youth with skills needed for a career in hospitality kitchens. The cooking school is located in the local village. You also are able to sponsor a student.
The students keep in contact with their sponsors while studying, keeping you abreast of their progress and training. On completion of this 12-month training course, students are assisted in finding a position as a chef at Singita or at other lodges within the Kruger National Park.
Singita Sweni Lodge welcomes children of all ages and entertaining activities such as board games, wildlife shows, cooking and baking with the chefs. The Mini-Rangers Programme is an educational course with a certificate presented on completion.
Activities include animal tracking, frogging, flower-pressing, butterfly capture and release, stargazing and nature quizzes.
