Restore Your Energy - Activities
Kruger National Park

Staying in the Kruger Park, Sabi Sands Private Reserve, you are in the prime position to see a wide variety of game.

Game Viewing

Being next to the Sabie River, a major water source for thirsty animals, it’s a great place to see herds of elephants, buffalo and wildebeest. Go on game drives, which run twice daily, one in the morning and one during the evening.

With only 6 guests per Land Rover your safari experience is unrushed and comfortable. Families staying at the Tinga family villa enjoy a private safari vehicle so that children from 6 years and older can appreciate the wildlife without having to stick to other guests schedules.

Bush Walks

Get out of the vehicle and stretch those legs on a bush walk. There is nothing quite like seeing fresh animal markings in the bush and realising how big the game actually is.

Being on foot gives a very different perspective of your surroundings in the wild than it does from the vehicle. The pace is slow, as you amble along in the care of an armed ranger and tracker, stopping frequently to observe the wonders of the bush that ordinarily you wouldn’t see.

Spend a night under the Stars

Spend a romantic evening high up in a treehouse, with the African night sky as your canopy. Pack an overnight bag, head out with your guide just before sunset to a sumptuous treehouse. After a thorough orientation by your guide, he will depart until sunrise, leaving you with a radio and the knowledge that he will be on hand if needed.

Experience a night out in the wilds, listening to the roar of the lion, trumpet of elephant and howl of the hyena. Being high enough above ground to be safe, you can revel in comfort as you watch for shooting stars and marvel at the vastness of the Milky Way.
