Go for an early morning walk, run or cycle and enjoy a hearty brunch or lunch before departing for Cape Town.
On your way back, make time to explore the small village of De Doorns, known for its high quality export grapes. Named after the farm "De Doorns boven aan de Hex Rivier" (‘the thorns on the upper Hex River’) that was established as early as 1725.
Stop in at the De Doorns Cellar, known to have the longest harvest season in the world. Their wines include dry and semi-sweet wines, a beautiful Demi-Sec sparkling wine, excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, rich Muscadel, a full sweet sherry and a medium dry sherry.
