Jabulani is owned and run by the Roode Family, which has a long history in the South African wildlife community. Lente Roode is the founder of the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, which involves the rescuing of orphaned, injured and vulnerable animals. This centre inspired the creation of Camp Jabulani, where you can interact with the resident elephants. You will soon discover that these magnificent creatures each have their own unique personalities.
Traditional wildlife excursions are conducted twice a day to track other game such as lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Nearby, you can also participate in an exclusive cheetah interaction as well as visiting the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.
There is also an opportunity to do hot air ballooning or have a spa therapy session. There is an art gallery on site featuring local South African art as well as a selection of South African designed and manufactured jewellery.
