Hilton is a small town in the Midlands Meander of KwaZulu-Natal, which forms part of Howick. This evidently English country village is a prime tourist destination, with clean mountain air from the escarpment above Pietermaritzburg and beautiful views of the Drakensberg. Hilton has a laid-back community and distinct examples of Tudor-style architecture spread throughout the town.

One of Hilton’s prominent attractions is its railway station, which is the last remaining station on the original Durban to Johannesburg track dating back to 1884. Hilton College, a prestigious school for boys, is also a well-known landmark. Visitors looking to make the most of their trip to the Midlands should opt for a weekend stay in Hilton to experience its vintage scenery and beautiful natural landscapes.
