Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Health of South Africa

The outbreak of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, has caused an emergency health crisis over the last few months across the globe. There are at least 140 countries who have confirmed cases of the virus, and South Africa has now fallen prey to it as well.

In response to the outbreak, the South African Health Department has released a toolkit to help in the prevention of any further spread of the virus.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) virus has caused a large amount of deaths worldwide, and continues to spread country by country, so it is of vital importance that we understand how the coronavirus looks, acts, and what precautions to follow to stay safe, as required by Government.

South Africa Online ® urges citizens to read the articles carefully and disseminate the coronavirus information to those in need.
