Your Experience

Stay at Cederberg Ridge Wilderness Lodge where the exquisite beauty of the Cederberg Mountains presents a striking backdrop to your luxury accommodation stocked with all the modern conveniences that make a wilderness getaway all the more memorable.

Step into an indigenous wonderland filled with such natural splendour, all your senses are destined to delight in its glory. Like many success stories, the beginning of Cederberg Ridge was not a smooth one. The wilderness lodge came into fruition after the original thatched Cape Dutch residence burnt down in 2013. Not letting this traumatic event curtail new developments, and certainly channelling the phoenix spirit, Cederberg Ridge of today materialised.

Located in a fertile farming area known for its table grape and citrus production, your holiday in the rugged, picturesque Cape landscape is sure to make an endearing impression. With luxe comfort in mind, your wilderness getaway offers multiple suites and rooms to cater to any discerning vacationer.

The earthy tones reflected in the lodge interior and large windows all promote the surrounding pristine environment, creating a dramatic effect of permitting the charm of the Cederberg Mountains and Wilderness Reserve into your personal suite.

Beyond your accommodation, coupled with all the amenities needed to ensure a chic African experience, lies a  wealth of history and activities to uncover. Whether you are keen on physical pursuits like walks in nature, biking, boat cruises or excursions through the Cederberg, or learning about the local culture and history, your vacay needs will be met.

When you return from your day’s exciting activities, the natural elegance of the Cederberg will be on full display - a stage set and made up of graceful fauna and flora. This can be surveyed and documented from the watery comfort of your personal pool or even from your plush bed.

Children from 6 years and upwards are welcome, younger children are accepted by prior arrangement.
