Agulhas Honeybush Tea is organically and naturally produced. It’s free from caffeine, preservatives, sugar and honey.
Agulhas Honeybush Tea produces two main lines of tea, which are Honeybush Tea in 20 kg bulk bags and Honeybush Tea in 120g or 200g resealable pouches. The tea produced in bulk is fermented Honeybush tea which is available in a fine cut (as in tea bag cut), coarse cut or dust form.
The Honeybush Tea produced in re-sealable pouches is available as fermented Honeybush Tea or as green Honeybush Tea. Both of these re-sealable Honeybush tea types are produced in 120g filter tea bags with 40 tea bags per pouch or in a loose tea form of 200g per pouch.
During the processing of the tea, Agulhas Honeybush Tea is cut into three different ways which is into tea dust, fine cut and coarse cut. Each cut type is packaged in various ways for diverse methods of consumption.
For instance, tea dust can, and has been used for extracts in cosmetic products and in the cosmetic industry. It is also used in special Honeybush Tea cappuccino drinks. Fine cut tea is often used for filtered tea bags and coarse cut tea is packaged and sold in loose tea pouches. It is therefore ideally consumed from tea pots or special tea strainers.
All of Agulhas Honeybush Tea products are organically planted, harvested, bred and processed through sustainable and organic farming practices. The products are derived from several of the 20 different Honeybush Tea species, dependent on which variations thrive in Agulhas Honeybush Tea’s farm’s environmental conditions.
The farm continuously invests in research and farming methods to ensure the best quality of tea is produced and to ensure that all of the Honeybush Tea species it farms are not influenced by wild seeds and remain in a monitored and controlled production environment.
