Game Drives

Bush Walks
Walking in the bush gives you the opportunity to experience Africa from the ground, in the safe hands of your professional guide. You feel the bush rather than simply observe it. You’re in the animals’ domain, experiencing the world on their terms. It’s really quite something!
These are gentle informative strolls not forced marches or long tiring hikes. You don’t have to be mega fit, as the guides can tailor the pace and distance to suit the participants. These walks are also great for keen birdwatchers who are invited to bring along binoculars, as there is a recorded 200 species of birds in this region.
Zulu Village Tour and Boma Dinner
At this wildlife safari lodge, cultural tours of the local Zulu village will give an in depth view on local customs and traditions. The tour includes a visit to the training school of a sangoma (traditional healer), and a chance to pick up some one-of-a-kind handcrafts.
Dine under the stars in the boma for a traditional South African braai (barbecue) or a potjie (meat stew with vegetables cooked on the fire in a cast iron pot). At your request, Zulu dancers from the nearby village will come and perform magnificent Zulu dancing in traditional attire.
Cooking Classes and Champagne Picnics
Rangers will take you to a remote part of the game reserve for Champagne and a gourmet picnic lunch in the tranquillity of the bush. You can also take part in the culinary courses that have been designed by French owner and trained chef, Francoise Malby-Anthony.
