Royal Malewane, situated in Thornybush Private Game Reserve, boasts an astonishing number of wildlife.
Exciting wildlife excursions are conducted twice a day to track the Big Five and other species of African wildlife. Each game drive is led by an experienced game ranger. Photographic safari vehicles with swivel chairs and other special features can be booked on request, so that you can take spectacular photos of your African wildlife safari experience.
At this classic safari in the Greater Kruger National Park, excursions to Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre can be arranged. Wildlife can be observed while they are being nursed to be released back into the wild.
Animals at the rehabilitation centres include lions, leopards, cheetahs, servals, wild dogs, eagles and other orphaned wildlife. The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre is home to baby orphaned rhinos, which have become famous thanks to a live webcam, which tracks their progress.
