Sedgefield is a coastal town on the Garden Route in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is situated on the N2 national road, between George and Knysna. This quaint coastal village nestles within the heart of South Africa’s very own ‘Lake District’, with abundant estuaries, lagoons, lakes and four splendid beaches on which to bliss out.

Sedgefield is not only a coastal town; it is also surrounded by lakes. On the Western side lies Swartvlei and in the East lies Groenvlei, which makes it a fisherman’s dream destination. It is therefore through fishing that many get to know the area more intimately and discover that it can also be a trail runner’s dream destination. This town is also an ideal family destination in which to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
