Unrivalled Panorama - Activities
Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park

Game drives and bush walks in the Sabi Sand Reserve take precedence over most other activities. No two game drives are ever the same.

Game Viewing

There are two daily game drives at Ulusaba, one leaving early in the morning and one leaving late afternoon, each lasting around three hours. Keep a look out for the Big 5, plus giraffes, zebra, and hippo that frequent this region. You can even rent camera equipment at this luxury accommodation, or head out on a safari walk with your ranger and tracker. This is an opportunity to see smaller creatures that are often overlooked when you’re out on a drive.

Aroma Boma

Relax and unwind after the excitement of a game drive with a spa treatment at the Aroma Boma. This ultra-exclusive lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve offers a whole range of treatments, from facials and massages through to those essential grooming rituals.

Kids Activities

Children can take part in the Cub's Club where various child-friendly activities are organised. A backpack of goodies helps keep the kids busy, but most popular are the educational safaris with a ranger who shows them how to track animals and how to survive in the bush.

Volunteering

The village tour looks into some of the charitable projects and schemes that Ulusaba is actively involved with. The Community Tours and Excursions are organised by Pride ‘n Purpose, Ulusaba’s charitable organisation. The basic philosophy behind its work is the principle of empowering disadvantaged people to help themselves while promoting sustainable development. All of Pride ’n Purposes’ expenses are funded by Ulusaba and Virgin Unite, the group’s entrepreneurial foundation. All money raised through these tours goes to the local communities.

Helicopter Excursions

Take advantage of the undulating landscape with an exhilarating scenic helicopter flight. View the deep gorges, valleys and waterfalls from an eagle’s vantage point. Hover over God's Window, the dramatic end of the escarpment and start of the Lowveld. Follow the Blyde River Canyon and witness the dramatic rock formations and verdant banks. Fly over the Three Rondavels, before landing at a picturesque site for a sumptuous picnic.
