At Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp, game drives are offered twice a day in open 4x4s, showcasing the best wildlife experiences imaginable.
Game Viewing
Each drive is conducted by professional tracker-guides to answer everything you ever wanted to know about the bush. With over 300 species of birds, and 47 large mammal species, there is much to see, so remember to keep your camera on hand while on a drive through the Sabi Sands.
What is great about this private reserve is ensuring that you don't have to deal with crowds of people at sightings as it is in the greater Kruger Park area. The drives depart at dawn break and in the late afternoons, which are the best times to spot leopards and lions. The afternoon game drive continues after the sun has set, allowing you to search for those elusive nocturnal animals.
Bush Walks
Just before lunch, you can arrange to go on a bush walk with a tracker guide. These walks are approximately 2 hours long, which will allow you an intimate experience within nature, and to stretch your legs.
You can come face-to-face with all sorts of creatures, hopefully not too many scary ones, but mostly the smaller animals and insects that you would most likely have missed when driving around the park in a 4x4. These walks provide ample opportunity for picture taking and simply moving along at a leisurely pace with nature.
Photography Safaris
The Sabi Sabi Photographic Safari offers guests the unique experience of being guided by a professional photographer (Photographic Host). These guides are well trained in the art of photography and can assist you in capturing the best moments while out in the wilderness.
At the end of the safari, you and your instructor will review the images and you will get a chance to learn about editing and processing the shots. All of your selected photos will go home with you on a CD or flashdrive courtesy of Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp. Please note that photographic tuition is subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
