Experience the beauty of the African night on an evening safari where there are numerous nocturnal African wildlife species that can be seen, such as Lion, Leopard, Porcupine or Civet, with the aid of a spotlight.

Game Viewing and Bush Walking

Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve is an oasis of wildlife. Daily game drives are conducted in specialised safari vehicles, under the supervision of highly skilled and trained field guides (rangers and trackers). Venture on an exciting safari walk for close encounters with nature.

Learn more about the surrounding African bush during an exciting mid-morning bush walk, which reveals a totally different perspective of the bush. The bush walk is approximately 2 hours long and guests are accompanied by an armed field guide.

Photography Safari

The Sabi Sabi Photography Safari offers guests the unique experience of being guided by a professional photographer Photographic Host. These guides are well trained in the art of photography and can assist you in capturing the best moments while out in the wilderness.

At the end of the safari you and your instructor will review the images and you will get a chance to learn about editing and processing the shots. All of your selected photos will go home with you on a CD or flashdrive courtesy of Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge.

Amani Spa

Besides taking part in the Sabi Sabi Photography Safari, the Spa has a full range of beauty and wellness treatments against the backdrop of the scenic bushveld including massages, facials, classic or deluxe pedicures and manicures, and delicious body wraps and scrubs.

You can delight in individually designed treatment packages for all occasions including honeymoons, birthdays or anniversaries. The spa has a couple's treatment suite for guests on a romantic getaway. Amani Spa uses specialised skin and body products. These specially crafted South African products are made with the highest quality natural essential oils.

For the Kids

The EleFun Centre is a fully fledged children’s facility within the Earth Lodge which fosters children’s awareness and appreciation of nature. Age-appropriate bushveld themed activities and ‘edutainment’ are designed and supervised by qualified staff, and include interesting bushcraft subjects regarding animals, bugs,birds, tracking, and map-reading.

In the evening, as your return to Earth Lodge, blasts of a Kudu horn herald dinnertime.
