Home away from Home - Activities
Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park

At Nkorho Bush Lodge, guides use 4×4 safari vehicles, seating small private groups, and are custom-designed for game viewing.

Game Viewing

These safari vehicles are open-sided or completely open-topped, which maximises visibility. Game drives set off early in the morning, which is the best time to spot African wildlife, namely the Big Five animals - elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard. There will also be a break on the way for tea or coffee. Afternoon/evening drives offer the opportunity to see the movements of nocturnal game. There is a stop at a scenic spot for sundowner drinks.

Bush Walks

Walking safaris are also included in your experience at this private bush lodge in the Sabi Sands. This is as close to nature as you can get, and an unforgettable adventure that can only be experienced in the private wildlife areas like Sabi Sands. Seasoned guides will accompany guests into the bush (usually armed to ensure your safety) where you will learn about various plant, tree and smaller animal species and the roles they play. A walk is done either before breakfast (summer) or after (winter).
