Game Viewing

Chitwa Chitwa offers early morning and evening game drives in an open safari vehicle with a professional game ranger and tracker. You can decide on which drive you want to join, which allows for a more personalised safari experience. Move with the pace of nature on a bush walk, which offers as an alternative for game viewing.

Bush Dining

Meals are served in either one of the two lodge bomas (outdoor enclosures) or inside the restaurant on the viewing decks. Choose from a selection of African inspired cuisine with vegetarian options available. Visit the underground wine cellar at this luxury lodge, which is stocked with a fine selection of South African and imported wines.

Cultural Village Excursion

On this 2 hour excursion, guests will get the opportunity to visit Dixie, a small village situated close to the area of the Sabi Sand. Chitwa Chitwa is directly involved in the upliftment of this community. This is also where most of their staff come from and it provides an insider's look into the lives of the local people.

Children Activities

This is also of the few Sabi Sands luxury lodges that accommodates children of all ages. An eco-experience programme is available to encourage young guests at Chitwa Chitwa to learn more about the African environment. Children over 6 are allowed to join in on the game drives and story books are even placed on children's beds during turn down service in the evenings.
