On the morning game drives, you will appreciate the warm blankets and hot water bottles that are supplied to guests. The trackers and guides at Inyati work extremely hard tracking animals and to ensure that you will experience the very best that the park has to offer.
Watch lions feast on a buffalo, track leopards playing with her cubs, and watch a baby impala take its first steps. Finish your drive alongside the hippos for some great pics of them in the water.
A unique activity in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, offered by this Inyati Game Lodge only, is fishing. It offers fishing as an extra activity between game drive times. All fishing equipment is supplied and fishing is done in the Sand River, which is home to over 37 species of fish.
An armed ranger or tracker will accompany you, so that you can relax and enjoy the fishing. The most popular catches includes barbel, bream, tiger fish and smallmouth yellow fish.
Young guests under the age of 16 may participate in child-friendly walking safaris with experienced guides. Child minding is conducted by lodge staff and can be arranged by request.
Kids can also join in the Young Rangers Programme where they can learn about bird calls, how to track and identify spoor (animal tracks), how to use the night sky as a map and how plants can be used to make toothpaste, soap, food, toilet paper and even medicine. At the end of their stay, children will be issued with an Inyati Young Rangers certificate.
