Game Viewing
Known for offering guests one of the most deluxe game viewing experiences in the country, the game drives at Phinda Rock Lodge will give you the opportunity to not only view the ever-popular Big 5 but up to 415 bird species as well. The game reserve is further famous for some of the best cheetah sightings in the country as well as being home to the highly endangered black rhino.
You can choose between two game drives a day (or enjoy both), which take place in open-roof safari vehicles under the direction of experienced guides and Zulu trackers who will ensure that you get well-acquainted with the animal and birdlife of the area.
Apart from conventional game drives, you can also engage in bush walks, seasonal night turtle drives, tracking black rhinos on foot and participate in various conservation-orientated activities.

Your dining experience at Phinda Rock Lodge is one filled with endless options. The resident chefs create sumptuous meals, which can be enjoyed either in the cosy communal dining room or in the privacy of your own suite.
