The game reserve may be best known for its superb bird life but it also has a large variety of animals that may be spotted during a game drive such as hippo, crocodile, impala and bushbuck.

The game reserve may be best known for its superb bird life but it also has a large variety of animals that may be spotted during a game drive such as hippo, crocodile, impala and bushbuck. Both white and black rhino as well as the gracious giraffe can also be seen and if you are really lucky you might come across some buffalo roaming the terrain.
When visiting the reserve you are allowed to drive through certain areas of the reserve in your own car or you can take part in a Land Rover tour to places of interest in the area under the guidance of a skilled tour guide.
Both morning and afternoon drives are offered, depending on visitor demand. If you would like to be included in one of the drives, arrangements need to be made at the reception office.
If you are energetic and wanting to stretch your legs, you can engage in a day walk in the reserve in the company of a dedicated guide.
Bush Dining
The spacious communal kitchen is a great way to share the load of self catering with your loved ones and to meet fellow travellers. While no food supplies can be bought on the reserve, basic items as well as petrol and oil is obtainable from a store approximately 2km from the entrance to the reserve.
Beer, Wine, cold drinks and ice creams are available from the curio shop in the reserve.
