Nature's Valley
Coastal Forest

Nature's Valley is a holiday resort and small village on the Garden Route. Although much of South Africa's coastline has been desecrated by holiday-home developments, Nature's Valley is an exception as hectares of natural forestry forms the resort and village.

Timber-frame houses hide among the coastal forest, and they seem to merge easily with the natural elements. The valley lies between the Salt River, the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, the Indian Ocean and the Groot River lagoon. If you are cornered and absolutely have to admit to a favourite town, you cannot go far wrong by settling on the glorious, scenic and oh-so-friendly Nature’s Valley.
